A little care keeps your Seyvora pieces looking new for longer. Always check the care label first. These tips are a general guide.

Everyday tips

• Wash clothes inside out in cold or lukewarm water to protect colour.
• Wash dark and light colours separately, especially for the first few washes.
• Use a gentle detergent and avoid bleach.
• Dry in the shade. Strong sun fades colour quickly.
• Fasten zips and buttons before washing so they do not snag other clothes.

Cotton shirts, blouses & t-shirts

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle. Reshape while damp and hang to dry. Iron on medium heat while slightly damp for crisp results.

Denim

Wash less often, inside out, in cold water. This keeps the colour rich and the fit true. Hang to dry and avoid the tumble dryer to prevent shrinking.

Satin & delicate fabrics

Hand wash in cold water or use a delicate cycle inside a mesh laundry bag. Do not wring. Press gently with a towel and hang to dry. Iron on low heat on the reverse side.

Sweaters, cardigans & knitwear

Hand wash cold or use a wool cycle. Dry flat on a towel so the knit keeps its shape. Fold instead of hanging, and use a fabric shaver to remove pilling.

Coats & jackets

Follow the care label; many coats are dry clean only. Brush off dust after wearing, air out between wears, and store on a wide hanger to keep the shoulders in shape.

Storing your clothes

Store clean clothes in a cool, dry place. Before winter pieces go away for summer, wash them and store them with a breathable cover.
